Buzz Sense
Remote beehive monitoring, made approachable.

Desktop view
Overview
Buzz Sense is a startup building IoT hardware that monitors beehives remotely — tracking temperature, humidity, weight, and sound to help beekeepers detect problems before they become losses. We were brought in to design and build their entire web presence from scratch.
The challenge
The core challenge was communicating a technical hardware product to a non-technical audience — beekeepers, agri-investors, and conservation partners — without dumbing it down. The brand needed to feel credible and modern while staying warm and approachable.
What we built
We led the full product: brand identity direction, UX architecture, visual design, and frontend development. The site uses clear visual storytelling — product photography, explainer sections, and a business model breakdown — to walk visitors from curiosity to conversion. A PHP-powered contact and inquiry system handles inbound leads without any third-party dependencies.
Highlights
- Fully responsive across all breakpoints
- PHP contact and partner inquiry forms — no third-party services
- Structured SEO with sitemap and JSON-LD schema
- Optimised asset pipeline using WebP throughout
